I was looking for: combat boots for autumn/winter, to be worn a couple of times a month.

Size: my size for this type of shoes is 38 EU but, as the website advise, I ordered a size smaller – size 4- because the sizing runs large. The size is correct.

Outsole: very elastic and cushioned, it's a pleasure to walk on it.

Insole: normal

Upper: steel toes

Heel: 3,5 cm of bouncing!

First use: they squeaks! At the beginning it is difficult to bend feet when going down the stairs. The upper bend everytime in the same point and it hurts the foot.
I show you what I mean:

My right boot soften in a couple of hours, the left one took much more time and caused me pain on the foot because of the bending. The boots are really light in weight.

Further uses: the boots definitively soften. The squeak become smaller and the upper doesn't hurt anymore.

My opinion: after the first use times, the boots become great. Tough apperance. I used them also during two city snowfalls. You can walk a long way with them and also dancing for hours. The boots are made in UK.

Primo uso: Scricchiolano. Difficoltà a piegare il piede quando si scendono le scale. La tomaia si piega sempre in un punto ben preciso e batte dolorosamente sul piede.
Vi mostro in foto cosa intendo:

L'anfibio destro si è "mollato" in un paio d'ore, il sinistro mi dà ancora un pò fastidio in un punto dove si crea una piega camminando. Sono molto leggeri.

Usi successivi: gli anfibi si ammorbidiscono. Lo scricchiolio si riduce, la tomaia non provoca più dolore.

Giudizio: passato il primo periodo si rivelano degli ottimi anfibi. Aspetto aggressivo. Usati anche durante 2 nevicate cittadine. Ci si può camminare a lungo e ballare per ore. Le scarpe sono made in UK.
