New shoes on the way

Here I am after more than a year after my latest post.
I was fine with the collection of shoes I have and busy wearing them.

Now I have two more shoes to review: a black flat and a black slip-on.

The first one is already in use, I'm waiting for the delivery of the second one.

I also want to write about overshoes for rainy days and update the reviews of the shoes I own after 1+ year of use.

Delivery time: 1 day and a half from order
Notes on the seller/e-shop: the owner was very kind, she wrote me after my order to be sure I chise the correct size (she didn't know I ordered after reading a review on an italian site http://www.stiletico.com/2012/07/testati-da-stiletico-sandali-sonia-di.html, where it was explained how to choose the size). I hope she will be able to add on the web site a size table and explanation.
Payment: PayPal

Outsole: flat, material that looks like leather
Insole: I like the material because it's very smooth and the foot doesn't stick on it if it's hot. It's also a pleasure to touch.
Upper: this model is really “nude”
Heel: slight

First use: tried at work (mainly desk work) with no problem

Further uses: I can't walk in this shoes for a long time in the city because it doesn't have the elastic support that I need on the outsole and heel. My legs become painful.

My opinion: I think the materials are great, the apperance is very well-finished and the color is intresting. The shoes are ok for me to be worn at work where I don't have to walk that much but they are less good on city walk. I didn't reach my goal for this shoes and I discover that “nude” model is not for me. The shoes are made in Italy. I will follow this brand to see how it will evolve.

Review: Adrina Strappy (Crocs)

Cerchi la versione in italiano? Salta alla fine del post!

Label: Crocs
Model: Adrina Strappy, black
I was looking for: a sandal good for long walk, to be used in the city and on vacation

Size: I have 37,5 EU fort his type of shoes and order a 37,5 EU size (as written on the shoes is US 7 woman). I read the comments on the website and the size guide. The size is correct.

Date of purchase: end of july, 2012
Price: 43,90 euro + delivery at 4,95 euro euro
Coupon: I used 2 discount coupons found on the web (price discount and free delivery) for a final price of 40,07 euro. I saved 8,87 euro. On the italian website coupons can be combined and are valid through the seasonal discounts.
Delivery time: 10 days. I placed the order on 29/07/2012, recived at my door on 08/08/2012 from Germany (arrived on italian ground 04/08/2012).
Notes on the seller/e-shop: -
Payment: credit card

Outsole: very elastic, it's a pleasure to walk on it.
Insole: same material of outsole
Upper: same material of outsole
Heel: 1,5 cm, elastic

First use: no problem and no pain on feet and legs
Considering that the shoes is all rubber, it squeaks walking on smooth surfaces! No noise on other surfaces like sidewalks.

Further uses: there is only one details I notice that can be nasty for people with long feet fingers.
In my opionion the Y-shaped strap is placed quite ahead compared to the shoes proportion (see the heel back strap). In this way, when you walk, the foot slip slightly ahead because it is not blocked by the Y-shaped strap. In that position, feet fingers tent to the shoes border.

On the Crocs italian website there is a comment describing a problem, when you walk and the foot bend: the “tongue” that cover the Y-shaped strap pushes on the fingers. That pushing is described as painful by the commenter because the “tongue” is in rigid rubber material.
This pushing really happens when you bend the foot and I show you what it means with photos. I didn't find it painful and I have no problem, but keep in mind this thing.

I tested the shoes for 2 month, vacations included.

My opinion: great, great, great
